CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling Team 2024

Finishing 11th in the 2022/2023 promotion relegation ranking, CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling Team has made the big jump to WorldTour. Earning 7018 UCI points is not easy, but with a strong squad like theirs, the success is understandable.

Head DS, Dirk Baldigner recently commented in a press release, “I’d like to thank all of the team and staff for their hard work, and all of our sponsors for believing in us over the last 10 years. Everyone worked very hard last season, they were very motivated to collect as many points as possible and to achieve our goal.”

The team has let go of two riders in 2024 and received one new transfer, Marta Jaskulska. The Polish rider, 23, comes from Liv Racing TeqFind in 2023, which merged with Team Jayco AlUla to create one team, Liv AlUla Jayco. Jaskulska bring strength to the team with impressive her sprinting ability, most notably finishing 7th on stage 1 of the Tour de Scandinavia.

The German squad is kickstarting their season in Majorca at Trofeo Calvià Femina, a UCI 1.1 race. Keep an eye out for their new blue and red jersey. They saw early success last year in Spain with Arianna Fidanza at Women Cycling Pro Costa De Almería. Can they recreate this success in Majorca?

The New CERATIZIT-WNT Jersey

As the new year unfolds, the team has unveiled a fresh jersey, opting to maintain its familiar design. Yet, as the team advances, this jersey is increasingly gaining recognition. Alé remains as their clothing sponsor for the year 2024.

Featuring solid red arms and a blue body, the jersey undergoes a subtle transformation with the addition of two new sponsors, Agri Carb and Reutte. This has led to a slight adjustment in the placement of the logos. Agri Carb and 2023 sponsor, Plansee, both fall under the Ceratizit Group. Agri Carb was also spotted in 2023, seen on the shorts and jersey during the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The red and white symbol of Reutte can be spotted below the Alé logo. Reutte is a region and city situated on the German-Austria border.

CERATIZIT-WNT’s 2024 Orbea Bikes

For the seventh consecutive year, the CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling Team will be riding Orbea bikes. Since the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the team has had the option of a new lightweight climbing bike, the Orbea Orca. They also have the choice of the Orbea Orca Aero, more centred around aerodynamics, it’s the perfect match for the sprinter Marta Lach!

Orbea's Wheel Brand, Oquo

In 2023, CERATIZIT-WNT used Vision wheels, but they have since transitioned to Orbea’s newly developed in-house brand, Oquo. Offering a range between 25mm and 57mm deep, riders now have the ideal selection based on the terrain. All wheel’s feature Zipp’s Cognition VS2 hub, which is an excellent choice. Undoubtedly, this contributes to the reduction of the RP45LTD Shimano HG Set’s weight to an impressive 1390g.
